The City of Isle of Palms newly announced that they will be conducting a beach renourishment project designed to restore and protect the island's shoreline. The work is planned for July - November 2026, specifically this area August - September. During your summer vacation, you may see construction equipment, pipelines, or temporary work zones on portions of the beach.
