Things to know prior to booking your stay:
- The Sea Cabin buildings do not have an elevator. Stairs are used to access all units, including some stairs to the 1st floor.
- Full Disclosure: There are modest bunk beds constructed into the hallway – they are adored by kids. They're also a great place to use for additional storage if not being used for sleeping! They measure 24”x72.5” compared to standard twin size of 38”x75”.
- All units are 490 sq. ft. – they most comfortably accommodate 2 adult guests with smaller kids. But while they are smaller, they are still 2x the size of most hotel rooms and include a entirely functional kitchen!
- 2nd and 3rd floor offer the best direct vistas of the Atlantic Ocean!
- Please carefully review all photos including the aerial photo that shows the layout of the condo complex to get an idea of where you'll be staying.
- Washers and Dryers are located next to the pool on the oceanfront; they are coin operated or download an app to pay!
- Parking notes: Each unit is given 1 parking pass.
- The community pool is not heated and is open year round.
- No smoking. A $500 dollar fine will be issued in order to professionally get rid of the odor.
- No family pets on site per condo regime and condo owner. No exception unless ADA documentation is included prior to your arrival. A $500 dollar fine will be issued if pet(s) are found on site without proper documentation.

These condos are centrally located right on Ocean Blvd which is a great location to be within walking distance to Local Eateries, Beach Shopping, the county park, ice cream stores, island nighttime life, and more! The Sea Cabin Condominiums are each 490 square feet and are comprised of a three-building complex where all units have private balconies overlooking the beach and Atlantic Ocean. This is also the only lifeguarded area on the island = comfort in safety! Wireless Internet is also available. Come try your luck at fishing from the 1000-foot fishing pier that is only accessible by condominium owners and guests or savor a calming walk on the pier over the breaking waves. Bicycle, water sport and beach umbrella units are available close by. A few important notes to be aware: NO HOME PARTIES. NO SMOKING. NO FAMILY PETS. No exceptions! Tips and Tricks to get the best Isle of Palms vacation rental experience:
Get the most from your rental budget:
- The earlier you can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best vacation homes are reserved early. Reserving your vacation property six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
- To book the largest rental home within budget, we strongly suggest booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at Isle of Palms restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your family qualifies for a discount.
- Property management companies frequently offer their guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
- Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Isle of Palms area travel guide magazines which will include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
How to select the perfect rental in the Isle of Palms area:
- Choose vacation week and max budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. Oceanfront 2nd Floor Condo!! Community Pool & Fishing Pier! In the Heart of IOP! has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is regularly available on booking websites. Otherwise, email the property management company before you reserve your home. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches.
- Some rentals allow pets, and others don't. Allowable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the property management company about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
- If there's a specific Isle of Palms destination you are enamored with, browse homes that are either near by, or those that cater to your requirements.
- Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. .
More considerations for your visit:
- We recommend storing the owner's contact information in your smartphone.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, A/V setup or WIFI setup. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent quite a few concerns.
- Protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental while you are gone, just like you would at home.
- To ensure that no damages are linked to your stay, inspect the property for any problem areas upon your arrival. E-mail the property manager immediately to relay any damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be valuable.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are a terrific source for finding the best local beaches.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can typically help. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
- Double-check every room of the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings at departure. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Go through the property a final time and look for any damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, remember to take photos and video of the property to record its condition.
- Leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent ratings to inspire new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
