Things to know prior to booking your stay:
The Sea Cabin buildings do not have an elevator. Stairs are used to access all units, including some stairs to the 1st floor.
Full Disclosure: There are modest bunk beds constructed into the hallway – they are appreciated by kids. They're also a great place to use for additional storage if not being used for sleeping! They measure 24”x72.5” compared to standard twin size of 38”x75”.
All units are 490 sq. ft. – they most comfortably accommodate 2 adult guests with smaller kids. But while they are smaller, they are still 2x the size of most hotel rooms and include a entirely functional kitchen!
Please carefully review all photos including the aerial photo that shows the layout of the condo complex to get an idea of where you'll be staying.
Washers and Dryers are located next to the pool on the oceanfront; they are coin operated or you can download an app to pay!
Parking notes: Each unit is given 1 parking pass.
The community pool is not heated and is usually open year round.
No smoking. A $500 dollar fine will be issued in order to professionally get rid of the odor.
No family pets on site per condo regime and condo owner. No exception unless ADA documentation is supplied prior to your arrival. A $500 dollar fine will be issued if pet(s) are found on site without proper documentation.

You'll immediately notice the shiplap that goes throughout the condo and adds a modern finished look. Walk further down the hallway, and you'll come across the main open concept kitchen and living area.

How to find the best Isle of Palms rental experience:

Cost saving strategies:

  • Summertime is high season in the Isle of Palms area. To find the most suitable rental within budget, we suggest reserving in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at Isle of Palms restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer.
  • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer promotional rates for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
  • Booking websites typically offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for details.
  • Look for your local Isle of Palms visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitor guides contain discounts for nearby accommodations, restaurants and tours.

How to pick the best vacation rental in Isle of Palms:

  • Start by having your family commit to vacation dates and a max budget.
  • Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. Beautifully Appointed Completely Renovated Third Floor Ocean Front Condo! has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed types is generally accessible on booking pages. If not, email or call the property management company before reserving the property. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • Is your family looking for particular amenities? Most websites include search filters with amenity lists.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
  • If your family is bringing pets, you must book a property that allows animals. Make sure to ask for specifics on breed, size, and type restrictions. Often, property managers charge pet deposits and fees.

Additional considerations:

  • Add the property manager's contact info to your smartphone. Understand and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • During check-in, make note of any damages to the property and immediately contact the owner. Keep records of all coorespondence.
  • Property managers are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Be respectful of your neighbors. Often, adjacent homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking policies reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home while you are out, just like you would back home.
  • Upon check-out, take a walk-through to confirm you didn't leave anything behind. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, remember to take photos and video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a great vacation? Most rental websites make it easy for customers to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or host was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
