Located a mere 100 yards from the beach, the airy interior invokes the spirit of the sand and sea in calming, muted shades throughout. Located on a peaceful street and surrounded by mature live oak trees and sago palms, this home offers opportunities for indoor-outdoor living and entertaining abound. And, as if that couldn't get any better, The Laurel House newly finished a beautiful deck featuring a brand new pool and spa that may be heated!

With 4 BR/4 BR The Laurel House sleeps 10 Guests and offers an idyllic backdrop for an island escape. Savor coffee overlooking the live oaks in the morning and appreciate a dip in your private pool before collecting sea shells on the beach. Curl up with a book for peaceful afternoons on the screened porch. The comfortable, refreshed interiors offer plenty of room for everybody to relax. The bright, sunny kitchen includes a ample counter space, center island that seats 4 guests, close by dining table that seats 8, plus a cozy sitting area for slow mornings with the newspaper.

In addition to the main living areas of the home, the first floor has a total of three (3) bedrooms, two appointed with KING beds and each with its own private bathroom. The third one includes two bespoke-constructed bunk beds, with 2 QUEEN beds on the bottom and 2 TWIN beds on the top. The bunk room enjoys direct access to the main floor hall bath with shower.

Upstairs you'll find a cavernous primary suite, with KING bed, sitting area and opulent ensuite bathroom with soaking tub and walk-in shower.

Only 5 mins. from the oceanside Wild Dunes Links Golf Course and 20 mins. from the excitement downtown Charleston has to offer, the Laurel House provides an striking mix of luxury, location, and luxury.

NOTE: The Laurel House is a FAMILY FRIENDLY House and events and/or events are stringently prohibited. Every property in our portfolio is designed to host only vacation guests, and guests of Luxury Simplified Retreats are expected to abide by the rules and NOISE ORDINANCE enforced by the City of Isle of Palms. Those that violate the terms of occupancy, host events, and/or events will result in immediate loss of use. The Laurel House does not allow family pets. No exceptions. The Laurel House is a NO SMOKING property. No exceptions.

Access
Your Concierge will meet you at the home upon your arrival to check you in. Should our schedules not line up, your Concierge will walk you through how to get into the property. If you have any questions about directions or access to the property, your concierge will be ready and waiting to assist you by phone. There is room for five (5) cars at the home.

Interaction
Upon arrival, after the established 4PM check-in time, you may enter and exit the rental at your leisure. Your Concierge will meet you at the property upon check-in and provide valuable information about the home. Should an in-person meeting not work out, your Concierge will provide you with all the instructions you will need. We are here to make the check-in process a seamless one!

Our concierge team is committed to delivering exceptional service, impeccable cleanliness and all the amenities of your everyday home. With each stay you will savor high thread count linens, spa quality towels, hair dryer, ironing board, washer and dryer, standard coffee maker and Keurig, kitchen cookware and silverware, shower toiletries and soaps, additional linens and towels, air conditioning, cable, and wireless internet, and more. With our concierge services you can choose to have our team handle all the details of your trip. From stocking your refrigerator to reserving beach equipment, there isn't much our Concierge team can't help you with during your stay. And should you need any recommendations, it would be our enjoyment to provide suggestions for eateries, make reservations, organize activities, and answer any questions.

We offer the option to purchase trip insurance through Rental Guardian. We highly recommend adding trip insurance to your reservation, especially if you are traveling during hurricane season (June-November).

At the time of booking, we require a payment of 50% of your total rental amount. The remainder of your balance will be due 30 days prior to your check-in date and will be automatically charged to the card we have on file. If you are booking within 30 days of your expected arrival date, the full payment is due at the time of booking.

The City of Isle of Palms has a noise ordinance starting at 10PM that applies to private residences. Please be mindful of your neighbors. Noise complaints can result in fines and rental termination.

Minimum rental age is 25.

When to go & When to reserve a Isle of Palms rental home:

  • Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • To find the best value, change your family's Isle of Palms vacation to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer warm weather, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. Ask your property manager if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Property management companies usually offer their guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for more information.

  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all personal belongings. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your group have a wonderful time? Many rental websites make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your property and/or property manager was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words.
