Deluxe Oceanfront Condo in Summer House with impressive Oceanfront vistas from the living room, master bedroom and well-appointed deck. Unit 505 is a completely refreshed condo from which to appreciate the historic city, fine eateries and coastal appeal of Charleston. Guests will find gleaming wood floors, tasteful decorations and comfortable furnishings that create a fabulous beachfront getaway. In addition, Summerhouse is located on one of the best sections of the beach yet has a community pool with poolside restroom.

The master bathroom was freshly remodeled! Savor the handsome new shower after a long day at the beach! The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, comfortable linens with quality bed and bath linens. The Bedrooms also have room darkening curtains or shades. The sizable table and well-outfitted kitchen will facilitate preparation and enjoyment of all meals.

To relax, the living area is well appointed for watching your favorite entertainment on the humongous TV. Or, step onto the balcony to sit and savor the rhythm of the waves. The North East facing balcony also provides a shady getaway during the warmth of the afternoon.

Comfortably sleeps six: King in MBR; Queen, twin daybed and twin chair-bed (which can be moved to MBR) in 2nd BR.

*Summer House complex has been under construction the past 2 off-seasons. The work on this building was finished in June 2024, but continuing work on the adjacent building will take place during the off-season (September - May 2025). Noise and disruptions possible. *IOP City will begin Shoal Management Beach Renourishment project starting April 7th and is projected to be finished by the end of May. Crews will use emergency access paths near Wild Dunes Property Owners Beach House and move between Beach Club villas and Ocean Club. Beach access is open and work is not directly in front of this unit, but noise/disruption of equipment moving through this area is possible. Equipment is expected to run during low-tide only.*

About the Area

Located in Isle of Palms, this condo is on the beach. Fort Sumter and USS Yorktown are notable landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Isle of Palms Beach and Front Beach. Patriots Point and South Carolina Aquarium are not to be missed. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

  • Book your Isle of Palms vacation in Spring or Fall to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your vacationing group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Property managers often offer guests an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Look for your local Isle of Palms visitors guide magazine upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, visitor guides contain coupons for local shops and restaurants.

  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious vacationers bothering your quiet neighborhood. Employ the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and attractions you would have never otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Lock your vacation home while you are out. Keep your property safe!
  • Upon check-out, take a final walk-through to make sure you did not forget anything. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Remember to leave a review! Hosts rely on good feedback to propel new bookings. They'll be thankful for your review.
