- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal SC. Reserve your Isle of Palms rental in Spring or Fall to enjoy beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Isle of Palms vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
- Some owners offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your family.
- Property managers usually offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for more information.
- Many rental management companies supply Isle of Palms area travel guides that include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Isle of Palms visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
