- Lock your rental property while you're out! Don't let crooks spoil your trip.
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected all belongings. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Inspect the rental one final time and scan for any damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, take pictures of the property to record its condition.

Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will will be grateful for your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective.
