A few important notes to be aware: NO HOME PARTIES. NO SMOKING.1 PET ONLY must be 25 lbs or less Non-Shedding breeds only. No exceptions! There is a very strict noise ordinance policy on the island that goes into effect at 10pm on weeknights and 11pm on weekend nights. The 5 car limit is also stringently enforced. This home is a family rental and is located near year-round residents. This is not a rental home for bachelor/bachelorette events, wedding groups, youth groups, fraternities/sororities, receptions, or any other types of bigger gatherings. We do NOT rent to students or anyone under the age of 30 - no exceptions - even if a parent or legally responsible adult makes the reservation. If such a group occupies or attempts to occupy the property, they will be required to immediately vacate and there will be NO refunds given. Please note - family pets are not allowed in the pool. If pool cleaning service determines pets have been swimming in the pool during your stay, you will be charged a $250 pet fine.

About the Area

Located near the beach, this vacation home is in Ocean Boulevard, a neighborhood in Isle of Palms. USS Yorktown and Charleston City Market are notable landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Wild Dunes Resort Golf Course and Port of Charleston Cruise Terminal. Sticking to a rental budget:

  • To get the best value, try changing your family's Isle of Palms vacation dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer warm temperatures, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August.

  • Some property managers offer rate reductions for veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property management companies frequently offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses.
