Watching the sun rise over the ocean and listening to the early morning surf: 11A Mariners Walk is really a Sunrise Retreat. Stand on the cavernous oceanfront deck, as close to the beach as you can be in any home on Wild Dunes, and you will immediately agree with all our guests, the vistas are “extraordinary,” and “second to none.” These fabulous ocean vistas are yours to appreciate from every window in the entire condo. More like a townhouse than a condo, 11A Mariners Walk features two levels, which is very unusual and special in a two-bedroom villa/condominium. This ocean-front unit has direct beach access to the sand from the unit’s patio.
The first level is highlighted by the living and dining area as well as the newly refreshed kitchen, which features many upgrades including stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops. The freshly updated, and wonderfully decorated living room is bright and comfortable, and features a huge 55-inch LCD intelligent TV, and a full-wall glass patio door leading to the deck. The dining room table can host six for dinner, with additional seating at the bar. The living room also features a new, queen-size sleeper couch. The deck has an outdoor dining table, with an umbrella, that seats four, as well as a two-seat high-top deck table.
The bedrooms are located on the second floor. Each bedroom features a private bath and T.V.. With its window on the ocean side, fall asleep to the sound of the waves from the master bedroom, which has a comfortable king bed. The guest bedroom also has a king bed, and an ocean view.
Not far away is the Links Golf Course & Pro-shop, Woody’s Eatery, Tennis Center, and bicycle units. Right across the street from The Links is the new Sweetgrass Inn, featuring numerous amazing eateries and lounges, and The Spa at Sweetgrass. All this a short, and breathtaking, walk from the condo.

How to get the best vacation home experience:
When to book & When to go:
- In the Isle of Palms area, The earlier your group can book, the better your selection will be. The best properties are booked early. Reserving your vacation rental six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your vacation home.
- Summer is high season in Isle of Palms. Booking in Fall or Spring is an excellent way to save money on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Isle of Palms vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if discounts are available for your family.
- Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer renters an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
- Find a copy of your local visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, travel guide magazines have deals for local accommodations and attractions.
Use filters to narrow your search:
- Begin by choosing your vacation dates and a maximum budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your family needs. New Listing! - 11A Mariners Walk - Ocean Front has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
- Specific details about bedrooms and bed counts is regularly accessible on booking pages. If not, contact the property owner before you reserve the rental. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds and bunks. You'll need to work out which bed configuration is best for your group.
- Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional fees or costs applied to your contract.
- If there's a specific Isle of Palms attraction you long to visit, search for rentals that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
- Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
During your stay:
- Be sure you get the property manager's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your .
- Property managers are there to help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property while you are gone, just like you would at home.
- To ensure that no damages are linked to your family's visit, inspect the property for any problem areas upon your arrival. Get in touch with the host right away to report any damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome visitors bothering your peace. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would have never otherwise known about!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the rental to confirm you've collected all of your things. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Go through the property one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take video of the rental to record its condition.
- Did you have a wonderful vacation? Many rental websites make it easy for clients to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property manager was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was out of order and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
