description: As we begin our sunset cruise, you'll experience some of the most beautiful scenes of Charleston from a completely different perspective. The trip starts by departing lively Shem Creek, where you’ll have a front row seat to the popular waterfront bars and restaurants, local wildlife moving through the creek, and the fleet of boats that make up Charleston’s historic shrimping industry.

As we enter the Charleston Harbor, the cruise takes you past some of the most iconic and historic sights the city has to offer. Along the way you’ll pass the USS Yorktown at Patriots Point, a historic aircraft carrier that played an important role during World War II. You’ll also see the impressive Ravenel Bridge stretching across the harbor overhead.

From the water you'll catch views of the famous homes and park that make up The Battery, along with a view of Fort Sumter in the distance, where the first shots of the Civil War were fired in 1861.

This shared sunset cruise is a great way to experience the Holy City from the water. As the sun begins to set over the harbor, it’s the perfect chance to sit back, relax, and enjoy the views while learning a little about Charleston’s history and the waterways that make this place so special.
