description: Hop aboard with local expert birder Nicole Marie Pettinelli, from Charleston Bird Club and the naturalists from Barrier Island EcoTours as we explore the tidal flats and inlet sand bars in search of a variety of shore and wading birds, waterfowl and raptors. We have scheduled the trip around low-tide to ensure optimal opportunities to view our avian friends. Pack your own lunch for a picnic on Capers Island and an opportunity to walk the "Boneyard Beach".
